Dr. King has been a CRNA since 2016. He holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa (2020), a Master of Nurse Anesthesia from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota (2016), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana (2010). Dr. King brings leadership experience to RFUMS as a prior Chief Nurse Anesthetist, Clinical Coordinator, Board Director, and Committee Chair within the ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥ Association of Nurse Anesthesiology and the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Dr. King has disseminated a multitude of scholarly works in the field of nurse anesthesiology. Among his primary research interests, Dr. King is internationally regarded as a subject matter expert in cannabis implications for perioperative and critically ill patients, as well as the social stigmatization of cannabis use in healthcare.
